Accessibility

Last reviewed: October 23, 2026

Our goal

CorePath is working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Every feature is for everyone, and you never have to tell us anything about yourself to use a setting. Your settings stay private: they never appear to teachers, on the leaderboard, or in your portfolio. We don't use third-party accessibility overlays; we fix the site itself.

What's supported

  • Full keyboard use, skip links, visible focus, and a shortcut list (press “?” in a challenge).
  • Screen reader landmarks, page announcements, and spoken updates for Saturn's replies and check results.
  • Light, dark, high-contrast and system themes, plus support for Windows high-contrast mode.
  • Text size up to 200%, reading fonts, line, letter and word spacing, and reading width.
  • Reduce motion, calm mode, break reminders, read aloud, and voice typing.
  • No timers, no speed scoring, and your code saves automatically.

Open these from the Accessibility settings button in the top bar.

Known limitations

  • Read aloud and voice typing depend on your browser; some browsers don't support voice typing.
  • The Python runtime loads slowly on older Chromebooks the first time.
  • We haven't finished a full test with every screen reader yet.
  • The leaderboard and teacher view show sample data until real class activity exists.

Report an accessibility problem

If something blocks you, tell us what page you were on and what happened. Report an accessibility problem. We aim to reply within three school days.
